The rapid trend of globalization and technological changes due to the fourth industrial revolution has changed the job market needs. Thus demand for revolutionary business education programs to fit the job market skills and competencies expected by employers. The proposed Hekima University Business School strives to offer business education that will play a pivotal role in uplifting social justice, moral values, and ethical values through Jesuit Pedagogy; and triggering the 4th Industrial Revolution and beyond entrepreneurial spirit in the society. The business programs will be geared toward innovation and equip the graduate with hands-on skills through an experiential- entrepreneurial model and flipped classroom approaches. The school will enjoy a vast network of Jesuits worldwide with a strong background in Business studies.

For admission into the Bachelor of Science in Business Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (BISE) Program, a background in mathematics, and computers is required;
- A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean Grade of ‘’C+’’, or its recognized equivalent from the other Eastern African Countries (Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Sudan and other countries)
- The Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE)
- East African Certificate of Education (EACE), “Ordinary Level” Division I or II or an Accredited and Recognized
- An Accredited and Recognized Relevant Diploma from an Accredited and Recognized Institution (Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and other countries).
The curriculum provides a broad range of academic courses and practical tools designed to advance the students in Entrepreneurship career in Digital Economy; Innovation Value Chain; The Fourth Industrial Revolution (and beyond); Leadership for Entrepreneurs; Meta-cognitive Knowledge for Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Innovation and Strategic Management Theory; Spirituality of Innovation and Entrepreneurship; and Philosophy of Change, Innovation and Entre- preneurship.
The proposed Hekima University School of Business will be taught using the flipped classroom model, where scholars learn in and outside the classroom. There will be blended learning and physical and online programs. This will enable personalized learning where the tutor is able to understand the strength and weaknesses of each student. It will offer opportunities for students to interact with others from local and international universities through Jesuit Networks. Students will spend most of the time doing practicals in the Innovation hubs and in the industries through an Experiential-entrepreneurial model of learning.
Graduates will seek employment in conventional corporations/firms in areas of Administration, Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Banking, Finance, Investments, and ICT firms with the intention of incorporating strategies for social impact. Yet others will join social enterprises, non-profits, and the government as Project analysts and implementers; Founders of community-based NGOs; Innovators in the Digi-business economy; Community project champions. Others will be equipped to be Business entrepreneurs and innovators (Employable Employers).

The Bachelor of Science in Business Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship program is designed to impart practical business management skills to ethical, results-driven, creative professionals in the public sector, Private Sectors, and non-governmental organizations with practical career experience.
