A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. On Thursday, 1st December 2022 , The Jesuit Fathers Registered Trustees of the Society of Jesus of the Eastern Africa organised a Fundraiser Dinner with the sole purpose of actualizing the preliminary phase in process of establishing The proposed Hekima University. The proposed university will be the first Jesuit university in the Eastern Africa and will  located in the Baraka Hills of Molo in Nakuru County.  It will also have a Nairobi campus at Hekima University College on Riara Road, off Ngong Road.

The proposed university will be reaching out to the poor and marginalized  as envisaged in the tradition of the Jesuits’ mission. Within the Jesuit educational tradition, one of the primary goals is to provide students with the best possible accompaniment in their academic journey. The proposed university will serve students from member countries of the Eastern Africa Province of the Society of Jesus, namely:  Kenya, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.

The fundraiser dinner was a success courtesy of  the Society of Jesus – Eastern Africa Province collaborators, who were drawn from Alumnus of Jesuit university, like minded institution, Amicis both locally and globally amongst others.  We are Thankful and Grateful  for your Contribution, Time and Participation.

Be Blessed
